Listening rig
Since I don't have space in the crappy rented house I live in currently, I have not been able to invest in a proper desktop or room audio system. Hence, my audio rig is purely a portable one - consisting of a source, interconnect, headphone amp and a collection of IEMs.
Source: A modified iPod 5.5g (ala DIYmod, RWA iMod) running Rockbox
Head amp: Headstage Arrow 12HE 2nd Generation
IC: DIY Mundorf gold-plated silver mini-to-mini + iMod dock connector
IEMs: SM3 v1, ATH-CK10, UE TF10pro, Vsonic GR07
I normally rip all my CDs to FLAC (or 320kbps MP3 if I don't have the space) with EAC before loading it onto the iMod for listening.
